Moi University’s Africa Center of Excellence in Phytochemicals, Textile, and Renewable (ACEII-PTRE) jointly with Donghua University, China held a two-day Sino-Africa hybrid mode international symposium on Textiles and Apparel (SAISTA). The symposium, themed ‘Green Africa’, kicked off on Friday, September 16^th, 2022, and concluded on Saturday, September 17^th, 2022.

The focus of the Symposium discussion and presentations was on green textile technologies and sustainable development of the textile industry through the lenses of academia, education, industry, and trade.
