He started from two questions: "Who are we and what do we do in Kenya ". In his speech, CIMU Founded in 2015, aimed to promote the cultivation of young talents and enhance friendship between the two countries by teaching Chinese. Future prospect
On March 30th, 2015, Confucius Institute at Moi University featuring textile industry technology and apparel design was inaugurated. We have been tasked with teaching Chinese language and culture since the inception. At the same time, we also undertake the task of building the cultural exchange platform of China-Africa textile and garment industry.
CIMU has so far organized a series of events such as the China-Africa International Textile and Garment Forum, the China-Africa Textile Expo and the China-Africa clothing exchange day and has carried out extensive cooperation with the Moi University, boosting textile production capacity cooperation. We also do a lot of work to train practical technical talents for local and integrate them into local economic and social development.
In the future, CIMU will continue to develop with its own characteristics and try to build a bridge of cooperation between China and Kenya in textile and garment industry.
