The CIMU Model Team Open 2018 China Trade Week

On June18, 2018, the model team of Confucius Institute at Moi University (CIMU) performed a splendid catwalk show at the opening ceremony of the 2018 China Trade Week, which was conducted in Kenya International Conference Center, Nairobi, Kenya.

The event was supported by the organizers of the China Trade Week, the Kenya China General Chamber of Commerce, the Kenyan Government, and a number of media including Xinhua News Agency and China Daily. Those who attended this fashion show include the Chairman of Middle East International Exhibitions Group Wang Hailin, the Chairman of Hualian Association Han Jun, the President of Overseas China General Chamber of Commerce Zhuo Wu, the Director of the Confucius Institute at University of Nairobi Xiao Shan, the Director of the Confucius Institute at Egerton University Li Yuan, the Senior Officer of Cotton Bureau of Kenya Kabui Macharia,etc.

This fashion show was organized by Han Zheyu, Xu Xingzhi, Cai Lingxiao, Ye Changhai, Shen Jie and Wang Peng, six teachers from school of Fashion & Art Design, Donghua University, Shanghai, China, together with CIMU director and volunteer teachers
